Urethane Manufacturer to Show Products at Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference

(Memphis, Tenn.) August 28, 2013 — Bailey-Parks Urethane will attend the second annual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference, September 5–6, 2013, at the JW Marriott Hill Country hotel in San Antonio, Texas, to discuss polyurethane solutions for some of the logistics problems currently affecting petroleum and natural gas exploration companies in the United States. Bailey-Parks will showcase its Sand Viper product, an innovative urethane piping system for frac-sand trucks that was designed to stand up to the wear caused by frac sand, lasting significantly longer than standard aluminum parts.

The first Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference was convened by Petroleum Connection in 2012 to address the supply constraints and logistics problems caused by the sudden increase in demand for frac sand in the United States. The 2013 event continues the inaugural conference’s mission to bring together industry leaders at all levels in order to develop a more efficient frac-sand supply chain.

A Silver Sponsor for this year’s symposium and one of 25 exhibitors, Bailey-Parks will present its cutting-edge Sand Viper system, as well as its long-standing lines of hydrocyclones, impact pads, scrapers, sheeting, and wiper blades, which are often used in the oil, gas, and mining industries to convey and reclaim abrasive materials.
