 Diamondback® Polyurethane Liner Sheets

Diamondback® polyurethane sheets and liners, a trademarked product manufactured only by Bailey-Parks Urethane, are among the most versatile of all lining materials.  These polyurethane sheets are available in a variety of standard sizes and range from 65A to 92A shore durometer. Diamondback® polyurethane liners provide outstanding resistance to impingement and frictional abrasion, are relatively easy to fabricate and install, and meet FDA standards for dry food handling. The softness cushions to protect grain, feed, and other materials from breakage.

Each and every Diamondback® polyurethane sheet is produced using high tech computerized casting and monitoring equipment to ensure product consistency.  In addition to standard verification of thickness, width, length, and hardness, Bailey-Parks Urethane checks every lot both during the pour and again after the final post cure is completed for ultimate tensile strength, percent elongation break at 100% and 300% modulus, and durometer – it is the only way to assure you of the best, most consistent quality urethane.

Bailey-Parks' Diamondback urethane is a versatile liner material used in some of the most demanding industrial applications.Available Thicknesses

BACKINGS FOR DIAMONDBACK® POLYURETHANE LINERS

The correct backing is very important for the success of the liner life. The equipment being lined should be reviewed for flatness, irregular contours, and desired fastening method.

Non-reinforced: no backing.  Most lightweight and flexible of all the Diamondbacks, and can be hand formed.  A special adhesive allows gluing to metal and other materials.

Cotton fabric: lightweight, flexible, and excellent for gluing to metal and other substrates with commercial adhesives.

Expanded metal: flattened, expanded steel, typically 16-guage that makes Diamondback® more rigid and flatter when installed and decreases the amount of thermal expansion/contraction.  Metal backing provides a structurally sound “stopping point” for bolt heads, so the bolt cannot pull entirely through the sheet.

Perfoback™ metal: a relatively new, specialized metal with many small openings that create a perforated effect.  Provides all of the advantages of expanded metal and the small openings permit use of self-tapping metal screws through the backing.  Perfoback™ is a replacement for solid metal and is especially effective with Diamondback® ceramic chip liners.

FASTENING SOLUTIONS

Wedgie Bolt: the longest-wearing fastening solution for urethane, synthetic rubber, and rubber products.  Made of tough Diamondback urethane, the Wedgie Bolt offers superior leakage resistance up to 1200 PSI and can outwear even heat-treated alloy steel by a 6:1 margin.  For use with sheet thicknesses from ¼” – 1”.

Weldable Diamondback®: welded metal plates on the bottom surface allow sheets to be welded to steel.

Perfo™ Screw: for use with Perfoback™ metal.

Molded-in bolts & inserts with holes: can be custom fabricated to your specifications.

Specialty adhesives: used for gluing Diamondback® and cotton fabric-backed Diamondback®.
