Urethane Impact Pads are used in bulk materials handling applications. Impact Pads are placed at the conveyor belt discharge area to slow products such as rock, gravel, sand, stone, soy bean, corn, wheat, and coal. The impact pads buffer the impact that usually occurs at the turn/elbow/end of a shoot or hopper, and naturally stops or slows the product down considerably.
Bailey-Parks Urethane offers two designs of Impact Pads:
- Corrugated/Sawtooth Impact Pad Design
- Dimpled Impact Pad Design
As conveying equipment is traditionally made of steel or some metal material, urethane impact pads help reduce noise and prevent equipment destruction at 90˚ discharge areas or downstream processes.

Corrugated / Sawtooth Pad Design
Bailey-Park’s corrugated impact pads have been the industry standard for the past 15 years, work with all conveyor types, and can be found in the most demanding materials handling applications around the country.

Dimpled Pad Design
Our molded, dimpled pad design is an updated, improved construction that requires the material to maneuver through more obstacles and self-impact, slowing it even further. This self-impacting action reduces the requirement of impact pads themselves, helping them protect equipment longer.
