Design and Engineering
Our expert engineering team has years of experience developing custom urethane product solutions for our clients, including:
Tooling and Machining
Bailey-Parks makes almost 100% of our tooling in-house, using steel, aluminum, and/or composite materials. Our polyurethane molding products include: Plastic Injection Molds, compression molds, centrifugal casting moldsā¦just to name a few. The Tooling Department also supports the BP Roller Division by building roller cores, repairing journals or damaged rollers prior to covering or recovering with polyurethane.
We have partnered with several local shops to greatly increase our ability to give our customers the greatest value and quickest turnaround times. With our partner shops, we can offer the best in WIRE EDM, LASER, and WATERJET CUTTING technology the industry has to offer. We can produce steel or aluminum inserts to be bonded to or incorporated into urethane parts. Our welding and fabricating shop, with MIG, TIG, and STICK capabilities, allows us to build or repair roller cores to your specifications. Repairs include straightening of bent journals, replacement of broken journals, and the buildup and machining of worn journals. We also machine new roller cores from the steel billets you specify. Additionally, we have access to CNC turning centers to produce large quantity, high precision roller cores, pins, spindles, and other turning requirements you might have.
Prototyping
Our CAD-CAM software, coupled with stereo lithography (SLA), can produce rapid prototypes from your drawing files. This process helps reduce the design time and ultimately the time to market. With two CNC MILLING CENTERS and one TURNING CENTER in house, we can design and build the molds needed to produce your parts -- quickly, efficiently, and with lower cost due in part to our in house capabilities.
